  This hotel was not very welcoming although the room itself was pretty good. I was the only guest on the night I arrived and I was rather grudgingly shown to my room - all of one flight of stairs - no offer of help with my bags either. My evening meal was lamb shank and it was the tiniest lamb shank I have ever seen. I needed an early breakfast and was told in no uncertain terms that breakfast would be served from 8am but was told that 8:30 ish would be better for them! I think the owners saw guests as an inconvenience. Although I was booked in for three nights I checked out in the morning.
